06/01/2018 – For the fourth year in a row, Egatel, a radio frequency broadcasting systems company of COMSA Corporación, has been recognised as the most innovative company of Galicia.
This recognition is a result of Egatel’s track record, whose innovation centred business strategy has enabled them to lead, in recent years, the classification of the Ardan report drafted by the Consortium of Vigo’s Free Trade Zone. Likewise, it also establishes that Egatel is the company from the province of Ourense with more Ardan indicators.
Francisco Valdés, Director of Innovation at Egatel, received the award from the State delegate in the Free Trade Zone of Vigo, Teresa Pedrosa, and the President of the Business Confederation of Ourense (abbreviated CEO in Spanish), José Manuel Pérez Canal.
The award was delivered during the presentation of the latest research study created by the Consortium of Vigo’s Free Trade Zone (abbreviated CZFV in Spanish), which compiles the progress of the best companies in Galicia based on Ardan indicators since 2006. Based on this publication, good business practices indicators have shown a high growth in the province of Ourense.
Likewise, the CZFV has attracted a total of 275 new companies to Galicia in recent years, generating 3,239 jobs, with 665 companies establishing themselves in the region’s industrial complexes along with 21,300 jobs. On the other hand, Pedrosa announced for 2018-21, an investment of 106 million euros in business location in the Vigo region, to attract 276 new companies and generate 3,300 jobs. The plan includes the creation and development of 3.3 million square metres of new industrial ground.
