EMTE Sistemas consolidates its international business at airports

EMTE Sistemas has secured new contracts to supply and install technology systems at airports in Morocco, Poland and Chile, for a combined value of nine million euros. With these awards, the company consolidates its international business in the airport sector, with activity in Europe, America, Africa and Asia.

EMTE Sistemas has been awarded two contracts to supply and install a total of nine jet bridges at airports in Rabat-Salé (Morocco) and Gdansk (Poland).

The Morocco Airport Authority has awarded EMTE Sistemas the supply and installation of ground/air communications in the Regional Training Centres and Radar Room of the Tangier, Fes and Oudja airports, the supply and installation of an ILS/DME landing system at Nador Airport, and the supply and installation of a DVOR/DME radio navigation aid system at the airport in Beni Mellal. These three contracts are in addition to others obtained in 2012 in the North African country’s aerodromes at Casablanca, Dakhla and Guelmin.

At the same time, the company will supply the Chilean Airport of Valdivia with an ILS/DME and aeronautical beacon system. These awards reinforce EMTE Sistemas’ activity in Chile, where last year the firm won three projects for the aerodromes of Iquique, Puerto Montt and Temuco.
