Egatel, a COMSA Corporación company specialized in radio frequency broadcasting systems, is participating this week at the NAB Show in Las Vegas (USA), presenting its new series of high, medium and low TV transmitters.
In this edition, it showcases the TLWH7900 transmitter series, which introduces an amplifier as main innovation so up to 8.8KWrms and with the integrated cooling system in the same rack. Actually, visitors can test through virtual reality the features of a transmitter with 5 amplifiers, Dual Drive Exciter and integrated cooling system.
In medium power will showcase the new TUWH3000 series which reaches up to 300 Wrms output power in only 3 racks units with high performance amplifiers, external fans and redundant power supplies. Low power continues covered by the current TUWH1000 and RUWH1000 compact families which reach output powers up to 125 Wrms ready to support all digital standards of Digital TV.
In SatCOM area it will be shown the last generation of ‘Smart LNB’, a terminal developed for the satellite operator Eutelsat. This new satellite transmitter/receiver stands out for its simplified design, light weight and reduced size. It is optimized to offer satellite TV connected services such as HbbTV, social networking, payment transactions, subscription-based management and on-demand services, as well as Machine to Machine (M2M) applications: e-Health, Smart Homes, Smart Metering, etc.
