COMSA EMTE plays an active part in the first Smart City Expo

On 2nd November, the first edition of Smart City Expo & World Congress in Barcelona came to an end with a total attendance of 6,160 people, 2,082 of whom were exhibitors. 42% of the visitors to the fair came from outside Spain, which placed the Congress at a new international reference point.

The congress received 290 exhibitors from all over the world who discussed the challenges for the future of the so-called “intelligent cities”. The concept of smart city was born from the need to transform cities, by means of technology, into spaces that are more habitable and sustainable.

COMSA EMTE took active part in the Congress from its stand, with representation from all the Group’s businesses, where it presented its “smart” solutions for construction projects, intelligent networks, environment and mobility. Furthermore, several experts from the Group participated in various sessions at the Congress where they discussed their experience with intelligent projects.
