25/09/19 – On the occasion of the 4th anniversary of the approval of the 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), COMSA Corporación has joined the #aliadosdelosODS campaign to contribute to the dissemination of these United Nations Goals, in collaboration with the Global Compact Spanish Network.
Since the approval of the 2030 Agenda, the company has being working on aligning its corporate management with the SDGs, finding new business opportunities, improving its relationship with its stakeholders and promoting innovation. In this respect, last year, COMSA Corporación submitted its first Corporate Social Responsibility Report, listing the group’s main milestones and challenges in the area of sustainability and for the first time aligning the company’s actions based on the Sustainable Development Goals.
The United Nations, the organisation behind the 2030 Agenda, recognises companies as fundamental agents to achieve its global objectives: “Business activity, investment and private innovation are the main driving forces of productivity, inclusive economic growth and the creation of employment… We encourage all companies to use innovation and their creativity to resolve the problems in relation to sustainable development”, the international organisation has stated.
