26/09/19 – The first edition of “The InnCom Challenge”, the startup programme promoted by COMSA Corporación, already has its winners. They are Allread, SAALG and Finalcad, companies that have developed solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data aimed at improving efficiency and decision-making in the execution of large infrastructure works, thus promoting the digitalisation of the construction sector.
The 3 startups, which were selected from over 120 candidates from 34 countries all over the world, are already working with COMSA Corporación’s Technical and Innovation Department and will have the support of the business group for the product validation, scaling-up and marketing process on a national and international level.
The projects chosen in the first edition of “The InnCom Challenge” were as follows:
• Allread (Spain): computer vision software that detects, reads and processes any type of text or symbol appearing in industrial processes.
• SAALG (Spain): startup specialising in the real time analysis of geotechnical instrumentation data to minimise risk, save time and maximise the profitability of works.
• Finalcad (France): collaborative platform that optimizes the inspection and analysis of the construction process, with special focus on quality control and finishing management.
The programme of “The InnCom Challenge” forms part of COMSA Corporación’s commitment to innovation as a driving force for development in the group’s main business areas with the ultimate goal of improving infrastructure execution, maintenance and management processes.
