EMTE Fire & Security and Eolis have been awarded two projects in Mexico for fire protection systems and two for air handling, with a total value of 8.5 million euros. These contracts reinforce the presence of the Mechanical Installations business in the Aztec country, where it is a key player in both the public and private sectors.
EMTE Fire & Security will be involved in the engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the fire protection system for two power generation plants owned by the Comisión Federal de la Electricidad in Baja California and Sonora, with a combined budget of 2 million euros.
Meanwhile, Eolis has obtained two contracts valued at 6.5 million euros for the development of air handling systems
in each facility at two public bodies. The first will be implemented at Ocoyoacac at a Birmex plant, the public company that
manufactures and markets vaccine strains, while the second will be implemented at the Special Physical, Mechanical and Electrical Metrology Laboratories of the Centro Nacional de Metrología (CENAM) in Querétaro.
