31/05/19 – COMSA has been awarded the works to improve the accessibility of the Billabona-Zizurkil railway station on line C-1 of the Irún-Brinkola suburban rail network, in Gipuzkoa.
Among the actions to be carried out by COMSA for Adif are the installation of lifts in the underpass between existing platforms, which will be fitted out to improve its lighting and cladding, and the enlargement in width and length of the platforms to facilitate access to trains.
Likewise, modifications will be made to the electrification installations and the subsequent assembly of the new overhead contact line for track 3 of the station, the demolition of the current passenger shelter on the central platform and the construction of new roofs, among others.
