COMSA Industrial launches eQualtiq, a tool that reduces the energy costs of buildings

COMSA Industrial has recently presented eQualtiq, an advanced software tool that allows the optimisation of the energy consumption of facilities and buildings according to criteria of sustainability and efficiency, and reduces costs by up to 20%.

The technology includes active control systems to adapt consumption to the real needs of the facilities, forecasting systems to predict future demands, and recommendation tools to propose and implement cost-saving measures leading to cost reductions. It also simplifies energy procurement procedures and facilitates access to the benefits arising from the liberalisation of this market.

eQualtiq will be offered to maintenance companies and energy facilities managers based on the Software as a Service (SaaS) model, which will allow customers to use the tool via the Internet, ensuring its suitability for the needs of each building and preserving the privacy of the information stored.

This initiative has been selected for financing and acceleration by the European organisation KIC Innoenergy SE. Stakes in eQualtiq are also held by Enervalis, a Belgian technology company specialising in energy management of buildings, electric vehicles and microgrids, along with the Fundación Tecnalia, Dexma and Vito. eQualtiq is the result of the European R&D project BEEST, led by COMSA Industrial. The tool will be tested and validated in five buildings, two in Barcelona and three in Belgium.
